Don’t Ignore Red Flags

from Horse Hippie’s Morning Mantras · host Horse Hippie

Morning Mantra: "People treat you exactly how they feel."Not how they say they feel when the mood is good, but how they act when it costs them effort. LRed flags are there for a reason. Choosing to ignore them so you can be in a relationship will cost you in the end.The first time you set a boundary, they felt it. Everything after that was evidence of their choice to ignore it. If nothing changed, that was the message. If they can watch you hurt and keep the behavior that caused it, that is the truth of their feelings for you. If you continue to explain what respect looks like to people who benefit from pretending not to recognize it, then it's you who needs to stop.To stop rescuing people from their own choices. Stop translating your needs into softer words so someone else could stay comfortable while you stayed wounded. Refuse to live at the level of excuses, delays, half-promises, and recycled apologies. If you have to continually prove your love to get love in return, you are being manipulated. Respect yourself enough to move on. Love flows freely. Love is a verb and their actions are telling you exactly how they really feel.#BeAwareOfRedFlags#BeHappy #BeHorsey#BeHippie #HorseHippie#MorningMantra#WordsToInspire#InspirationalQuotes#SmallBusinessOwner#WomenOwned#HorseHippieBoutique
