Don't Let a Temporary Defeat Become a Life Constant

No one, but no one like the spectre of defeat.  There is so much to dislike about defeat because we make it personal and feel that we are now defined by defeat.  That's taking it a bit too far of course, but emotions go hayware when we experience defeat.  It's not easy at first to see defeat as a learning curve when it stings so bad.  Let's see, first of all, we must reign in pride if we are to fully recover from defeat mode.  We can really do ourselves in if we do not give our defeat to God.  We were not designed to bear so much pain and self-reproach.  Confess your spiritual defeat to God and be rid of it.
