Don't Let Go Until He Blesses You

There is a kind of faith that looks nothing like what we were taught faith was supposed to look like.We were taught that faith was peaceful. Serene. That it was the posture of a person kneeling quietly beside a bed, hands folded, face calm, voice steady, releasing everything into the hands of God with an ease that bordered on effortless. And perhaps for some people, in some seasons, faith does look like that. But I want to talk today about another kind of faith. A faith that is bruised and breathless. A faith that holds on through the night not because it is strong, but because it refuses to let go. A faith that looks less like a prayer meeting and more like a wrestling match. A faith that arrives at dawn limping — but blessed.
