Don't Look Back!

Back on June 15, 2014, First Lady Darlene Bazemore told the story of Lot's wife, who chose to look back at what was behind her, instead of in front of her. Almost four years later, we bring it back full circle. Decisions are a part of life. It seems as though we have to make one at every turn. In the case of Lot's wife in Genesis 19:24, she made a decision to look back at the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and it turned out to be a fatal one. The idea is not to look back, but to look forward. It's now 2018, and it's time to look ahead, not to look back.
