Don't rush challenge!

Don’t rush challenge. The mistake that most have made in their journey with God was to want to rush through stages that one has to go through, before learning all the lessons that one needs to master, together with the needed character, to be able to mature in Christ. Jesus only started ministry at 30 because He knew that it was now time to embark on the journey of ministry. He just didn’t hit the ground running, He invested Himself under the teachings of the Rabbis of the time and of His parents. He was probably aware of His giftings and capabilities, but that never caused Him to rush into anything. The same goes for our relationship and service for God. Once the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will begin to release certain spiritual giftings upon your life. As awesome as that sounds, please wait. Don’t rush into ministry or show off your gifts. Master your spiritual giftings first before you minister to others. Keep in step with the Holy Spirit. Galatians 4:4 says, “But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law.” There is so much power in “the fullness of time”, and a lot of dishonor in doing things before their time. Even God Himself waited for the fullness of time before sending forth His Son.
