Don't Shoot - He's The Guitar Man (with Buzzy Martin)

from Pop & Prose · host Buddy Gott

My interview with musician and writer Buzzy Martin, who wrote a book called 'Don't Shoot Me! I'm The Guitar Man,' which is the basis for an upcoming film entitled 'Guitar Man.' Both the book and film tell his story of teaching guitar to at-risk kids incarcerated in juvenile hall, and then later teaching guitar to prisoners at San Quentin State Prison. Along the way, he helped make several lives better with the gift of music. I had a great time talking with Buzzy here about his experiences, his music, and many other things. To learn more about Buzzy 'Guitarman' Martin, visit his website here: https://www.buzzymartin.com/To hear some of his great music, check out his page on Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/buzzy-martin-160843002For my writings about music and other things, please visit my site: https://thebuddygott.com/ Thank you for reading and listening.
