Don't Slip

In this message, Elder Mills reminded us how easy it is to lose our footing when we take our eyes off of God. Asaph found himself questioning and becoming distracted after looking at the prosperity of others. What he saw caused him to wrestle with doubt—but it also revealed something deeper: our questions often reflect what we believe. When we focus too much on what others have, it can lead to comparison, envy, and spiritual instability. But God calls us to stay anchored, trust Him as our provider, and remain content with what He has given us. Even in moments where we feel like we’re slipping, God is faithful. His Word repositions us, His mercy reaches for us, and His hand holds us up. No matter what you’re facing—stay focused, trust God, and don’t slip.
