"Don't Stumble Their Block"
from Inspired Word Of God · host Marsha Singleton
1 Corinthians 8:9 But you must be careful so that your freedom does not cause others with a weaker conscience to stumble. 1 Corinthians 8:10 For if others see you-with your "superior knowledge"-eating in the temple of an idol, won't they be encouraged to violate their conscience by eating food that has been offered to an idol? 1 Corinthians 8:11 So because of your superior knowledge, a weak believer for whom Christ died will be destroyed. 1 Corinthians 8:12 And when you sin against other believers by encouraging them to do something they believe is wrong, you are sinning against Christ. Romans 14:15 And if another believer is distressed by what you eat, you are not acting in love if you eat it. Don't let your eating ruin someone for whom Christ died.Revelation 2:14 But I have a few complaints against you. You tolerate some among you whose teaching is like that of Balaam, who showed Balak how to trip up the people of Israel. He taught them to sin by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sin. NLT1Corinthians 12:1212 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.Matthew 25:43 I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn't give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn't visit me.' Matthew 25:44 Then they will reply, 'Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?' Matthew 25:45 And he will answer, 'I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.'Song: King Jesus Will Roll All Your Burdens Awayby Kenneth Morris 1947Pianist: Late Mrs. Loretta RaySinger: Marsha SingletonSong: "This Little Light of Mine" Reference Credits:Edward G.
