Don’t Trust in Testimonies, Feelings, or Experiences

A common device of the Devil is to get Christians to doubt the genuineness of their conversion based on their testimony, feelings, or experiences. The Devil may try to get you to doubt the validity of your conversion by comparing you to others who seem to have had very amazing experiences. But remember, someone can have an apparently amazing experience and end up falling away and proving to be false. Remember what the hymn says...I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly rest on Jesus' Name.
