You want to explore buying a home but decide you should wait until you get closer to your lease being finished. You finally get a few months from your lease being up and you apply for a mortgage to get pre-approved to buy a home. You get denied because of issues on your credit that you didn’t even know you had. You don’t have time to fix these problems and you have to sign your lease and rent for another year. Booo!
