Are you spiritually prepared for what God may be asking of you? In Matthew 25:1–13, Jesus tells the parable of the ten bridesmaids waiting for the bridegroom. Five are prepared with enough oil for their lamps, while five are not. When the bridegroom arrives, preparation can no longer be borrowed or postponed. This Gospel isn't meant to frighten us.
