Good morning! Thanks for joining us for worship today. I want to extend a special welcome to all of our students today! I remember when Michelle (my wife) and I first moved to Memphis for her to begin medical school; what an amazing journey it's been! In the midst of settling into a new community & busy routines, you've chosen to be here this morning..... we are grateful! Honestly, we're really excited you're in Memphis for this season of life. We love our city & believe you will too. A few things you should know:(1) We love you. Seriously, our church has a huge heart for students. We consider it one of the many blessings & opportunities of our location downtown. (2) We appreciate you. We believe your desire to make the world a better place has led you to this commitment; we are thankful. (3) We are praying for you. God loves you and has great desires & intentions for you in this season & in your life. We pray you will desire to be a godly person, not just a great student. We pray you will embrace every opportunity in this season to grow love for God & others. (4) We are here for you. Every student needs a church home. We have LOTS of students here at ICC.... it's a great church in our community (among many) to worship, receive, grow, and serve during your time here. We'd love to be your church home. Regardless of where you land, know that we are always here for anything you may need.
