In this podcast he talks about three dramatic climate events happening at once: ocean temperature rise in the north Atlantic, diminishing ice near Antarctica and rising global temperatures. "While climate scientists have been talking about North Atlantic sea surface temperatures these last few days, what's going on with sea ice in Antarctica is even more extreme, nearly 2.4 million km² below the 1991-2020 mean, with a big jump down today," he tweeted.
