YES IT'S DELIBERATELY LOW QUALITY - just like the 11khz in-game sounds... Doom is considered to be the "mother of FPS" and also it's been almost like a foster-parent for many of us during those lovely nineties:) My goal was to evoke that unique feeling which only this game can provide, but with a musical concept that may could fit even innto the actual game. Let me know what you think! PS.: It sounds mushy cuz I've used 12khz sounds.
