This week on an extra Special new Dopey! We are reunited with 'The Call's' Kimber King! Kimber brings the Dopey like very few guests have brought the Dopey. Kimber has been through the mill and now she is here to represent for all the serious Dopes out there in Dopeyland! PLUS! 2 NEW VOICEMAILS! Candyflipping, 2 shitting in pants stories and much much more on a brand new classic episode of that good old Dopey Show! More About Dopey: Dopey Podcast is the world’s greatest podcast on drugs, addiction and dumb shit. Chris and I were two IV heroin addicts who loved to talk about all the coke we smoked, snorted and shot, all the pills we ate, smoked, all the weed we smoked and ate, all the booze we consumed and all the consequences we suffered. After making the show for 2 and a half years, Chris tragically relapsed and died from a fentanyl overdose. Dopey continued on, at first to mourn the horrible loss of Chris, but then to continue our mission - which was at its core, to keep addicts and alcoholics company. Whether to laugh at our time in rehab, or cry at the worst missteps we made, Dopey tells the truth about drugs, addiction and recovery. We continually mine the universe for stories rife with debauchery and highlight serious drug taking and alcoholism. We also examine different paths toward addiction recovery. We shine a light on harm reduction and medication assisted treatment. We talk with celebrities and nobodies and stockpile stories to be the greatest one stop shop podcast on all things drugs, addiction, recovery and comedy pathfinding the route to the heart of the opioid epidemic. - how her mom's addiction fed into hers (literally), mom on percocet catching her smoking weed and giving her a brownie sundae - coke at family christmas - trauma bonding, generational trauma - brother's murder, mom unjustly charged for "withholding information" - adderall and ritalin - bulimia - shooting up routine - nitrous - pinching from garbage bags of bundles - vivitrol - shitting in a bush - meth vape - friend using meth to lose weight for bonnaroo - punched in the face by nazi - aryan meth compound (have you seen the movie Green Room? this is the image i'm getting, terrifying) - "farm to table meth" - ending up random places on benzos - xanax/fent/coke/ketamine nasal spray - overdoses - high speed car chase - homelessness Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
