She joined Dr. Peterson to discuss her newly released book, "The Mixed Marriage Project: A Memoir of Love, Race and Family", and Free Library of Philadelphia's Authors Series event Wednesday, February 11th at 7:00 PM at the Free Library of Philadelphia's 19th and Vine Street branch. The Mixed Marriage Project invites us into the daily lives of interracial couples in Chicago over four decades. Ms. Roberts reflects on her own childhood as a Black girl with a white father, and how those experiences have grown her into one of the most prominent public thinkers and scholars on race.
