Double down to Double Up: More Like Jesus

God’s will for His people is clear. That we would become more and more like Jesus through the sanctification of the Spirit.As Paul turns to 1 Thessalonians 4, he shows us what that looks like in the everyday realities of life: fleeing sexual immorality, growing in brotherly and sisterly love, and faithfully getting on with the life God has called us to. Holiness isn’t something we manufacture through willpower, nor is it a journey we walk alone. It is the work of the Holy Spirit in us, lived out alongside the family of God.As we double down on becoming more like Christ, our transformed lives become part of our witness to the world around us.
