Double Edged Double Bill 194: Regina King Is Down To Earth for One Night In Miami

Regina King is an all star performer who has been working on screens big and small for decades. So, she more than deserves to get the Double Edged Double Bill treatment! First, King tries to find chemistry with a resurrected Chris Rock in an elderly rich white man's body in Down to Earth! Then, Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Jim Brown and Sam Cooke converse about the stakes of black America in 1964 for Regina King's directorial debut One Night in Miami! Together, our duo answers the crucial questions. Can Chris Rock lead a film? How well does Regina King do on her first directorial outing? Which two films will they discuss on next week's Valentine's Day episode all about historical romances? Well, grab a non-vanilla ice cream flavor to eat in your newly inhabited body while you listen to find out!
