Double Edged Double Bill 206: Sam Raimi Presents A Simple Spider-Man Plan 3

For the first time in over a decade, Sam Raimi is back behind the director's chair! Before we see him dive into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness though, it's time we returned to the director's earlier works for an episode of Double Edged Double Bill! First, Sam Raimi gives us his stab at a suspense drama with the low-key underrated gem A Simple Plan! Then, Sam Raimi closes out his superhero trilogy with the messy Spider-Man 3! Together, our duo answers the crucial questions. Does Spider-Man 3 get too much hate? How well does Billy Bob Thornton pull off sad sentient scarecrow energy? Which two films will they choose for next week's episode on superheroes created for cinema? Well, swing a web on over and hide your found fortune so you can listen in to find out!
