Double Edged Double Bill 208: A24 Presents The Farewell Comes At Night

A24 releases some of the best arthouse films today. Naturally, they're more than worthy of being the focus for another Double Edged Double Bill episode! First, an extremely obvious metaphor lurks in the shadows in It Comes At Night! Then, a family tries to hide the secret of their beloved matriarch's health from her in The Farewell! Together, our duo answers the crucial questions. Can a character's singular trait be dream sequences? How can Awkwafina avoid overexposure? Is that Taylor Kitsch or Garrett Hedlund? Which two films will they choose for next week's Tom Cruise episode? Well, take that burlap sack off your head and finish your crab so you can listen to find out!
