Double Edged Double Bill 233: Pluto Nash Goes Back To The Future of Troubled Productions

After various production problems, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has finally hit theaters and become another box office smash. So, it only seems appropriate for Double Edged Double Bill to return to the world of films with troubled productions for Revember! First, $100 million and extensive on set rewrites resulted in a flop that nearly destroyed Eddie Murphy's career with The Adventures of Pluto Nash! Then, Robert Zemeckis managed to overcome being denied by every studio and a complete recasting of his lead actor to create the absolute classic with Back to the Future! Together, our duo answers the crucial questions. Is Eddie Murphy responsible for Pluto being stripped of its planet status? Will Ken Burns help us explain what happened between 1955 and 1985? Which two films will they discuss for next week's episode going back to the world of Cannon Films? Well, jump into your DeLorean and travel to the moon while you listen to find out!
