Double Edged Double Bill 237: Sigourney Weaver Is On a Galaxy Quest with Chappie

As cinemas return to the world of Pandora for Avatar: The Way of Water, so does one of our great actresses: Sigourney Weaver! So, Adam, Thomas and special guest Addison Binek are devoting an entire Double Edged Double Bill to the legendary star of sci-fi, horror and various other genres of film. First, Sigourney Weaver sits behind a desk while the titular robot gains sentience in Chappie! Then, Sigourney Weaver joins Tim Allen, Alan Rickman and a bunch of excited aliens to see if art can imitate life in Galaxy Quest! Together, our trio answer the crucial questions. How far does Weaver Cred go if she doesn't have much to do? Why is it so hard to create a modern cult classic? Which two films will they pick for next week's episode all about Brendan Fraser? Well, swear by Grabthar's Hammer that you'll cut off that terrible Hugh Jackman mullet and then listen to find out!
