Double Edged Double Bill 242: Ravenous for the Whiteout of Snowy Suspense

While the weather outside is frightful, the fire inside is delightfully suspenseful! In order to warm themselves up, Adam and Thomas are taking a look at the subgenre snowy suspense! That is, thrillers that take place in a snowy environment. First, Kate Beckinsale tries to make the tundra somewhat memorable in the rightfully forgotten thriller Whiteout! Then, Guy Pearce fights cannibalistic urges and weird shifts of tone & score in Ravenous! Together, our duo answers the crucial questions. Why are certain movies completely forgettable? How does the director behind the live action Smurfs and Scooby-Doo movies become a studio's backup director choice? Which two films will they choose for next week's episode on Julianne Moore? Well, finish eating your buddy's frost bitten fingers and listen in while making your trek through the snow to find out!
