Double Edged Double Bill 248: Creed vs Supergirl: A Spin-Off Off

Creed III promises even more boxing action spun off from the Rocky franchise. So, this week Thomas and special returning guest James Rodrigues are looking at a film spin-offs Double Edged Double Bill! First, most of the cast & crew of the beloved 70s/80s Superman movies bows out of the infamous disaster of a spin-off that is Supergirl! Then, new life is breathed into a seemingly wrapped up sports film series with the surprisingly rousing first Creed! Together, our duo answer the crucial questions. How does one turn franchise nods into necessary details for a moving character focused story? What man is actually worth bailing on your plans for world domination to pursue for smooching? Which two films will they choose for next week's episode on Best Picture Follow Ups? Well, put down that all important MacGuffin you're playing with and get in your ringside seats so you can listen to find out! Listen to Thomas' guest spot on Reel Talk: The Movie Show covering M.
