Double Jeopardy

In this raw, unflinching episode, I pull no punches as I walk you through my line of fire, the life of a biracial cop, caught between crosshairs from both sides. I’ve been called the enemy by strangers who never knew me, and a traitor by those who looked just like me. I’ve been the target and the tool, judged by skin and by badge. I’ve been on scene where one word could calm the storm or potentially be the match. From the streets to the squad room, we will walk together through my story about the weight of that judgment, the moments I almost let bitterness win, and the fight to choose grace instead.This isn’t a clean, polished story.  It’s about reclaiming our voice when the world tries to write our script, and finding freedom; not from the uniform, but from the potential prison of our ownhate.
