Double Portion Inheritance: Preaching Yahuwshuwa Messiah & Him Crucified (06/13/2013)

In this episode, Maria continues her exhortation to the Hebraic Root’s Community about getting back to the essentials of preaching “Messiah and him crucified” which is what the Apostle Sha’uwl emphasized: 1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 2:2 For I determined not to know anything among you, save Yahuwshuwa Mashiyach, and him crucified. There are many who have left their “first love” (Messiah) and many are now only preaching the “written Towrah.” Many have begun to take their eyes off of Yahuwshuwa who is the “author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2). It is about time for those who claim to obey Towrah and have the “Testimony of Yahuwshuwa” to start preaching the simplicity of the “Two Sticks” aka the “Taw” or the “cross.” The image of the “cross” did not start out as a pagan symbol, contrary to popular belief. The Greek word for “cross” is “stauros” which not only means a “stake or a pole,” but it also means “self-denial.” The “cross” is the last letter in the Hebrew Alphabet called the “Taw.” Our Messiah was nailed to “Two Sticks” for the “Two Houses of Yisra’el.” Satan (of course) tried to hi-jack this symbol as he does with everything else. We are not supposed to bow down to graven images by worshiping crosses, but we do recognize the prophetic significance of what the “Alef & Taw” stands for. The Apostle Sha’uwl (Paul) explained the importance of “preaching the two sticks” or “self-denial” and he called it “the power of Elohiym.” 1st Qorintiym (Corinthians) 1:18 For the preaching of the two sticks (taw; cross) is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of Elohiym.
