Double Portion Inheritance: Prophetic Types of Ruth & Orpah (07/21/2011)

In the aftermath of Maria’s five-week teaching series on the book of Ruth, this week Maria makes comparisons from the book of Ruth about two types of brides. There is a prophetic picture in the parable of the “ten virgins” seen in Matthew 25 with these two women: Ruth & Orpah. The same parallels exist with the “two covenants” typified in Hagar & Sarah in the 4th chapter of Galatians.
