Double Portion Inheritance: The Vine Makes the Bitter Waters Sweet: A Study in Ruth Part 3 (06/30/2011)
from Double Portion Inheritance · host Double Portion Inheritance
In this week’s teaching series, Maria shares Part 3 of her study in the book of Ruth as she takes a few “rabbit trails” and delves into other prophecies about the “Restoration of Yisra’el.” Maria’s aim is to bring all of these prophecies into a “dovetail” at the end of the series showing how Naomi is a prophetic “type” of the House of Yahuwdah (Judah), and Ruth is a prophetic “type” of those in the Gentile “Church” who choose to come out of Mystery Babylon in these last days to embrace Yisra’el and to be grafted into the tribe of her bridegroom (Judah). In Zechariah 8:23, there is a prophecy that states that “ten men” out of the Gentile nations will take hold of the “tziytzit” (fringes of the garment) of one Yahuwdiy (Jew) and they will follow him and his Elohiym (God). Ruth represents these “ten gentiles” who follows that “one Jew” back to Bethlehem-Judah. When she followed Naomi who was from the House of Judah, she converted and was able to be married to Boaz who is a “type” of Messiah. Ruth typifies the “wise virgins” in the parable of the “ten virgins” seen in Matthew 25. The “five wise virgins” are the ones who will be granted the right to be the bride of Messiah who is typified in Boaz.
