Double Portion Inheritance: What Law Was Added Because of Transgression? (05/02/2013)
from Double Portion Inheritance · host Double Portion Inheritance
Most of the Christian world has greatly misunderstood the book of Galatians, and as a result, many have falsely concluded that the Towrah (Mosaic Law) was “added” to the Abrahamic Covenant because of transgression. The Apostle Sha’uwl (Paul) wrote: Galatians 3:19 “Wherefore then serves the Towrah (law)? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.” Now, if Paul really meant that the “entire law” was added because of transgressions, then why did the Apostle John write the following? 1st Yahuwchanon (John) 3:4 “Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the Towrah (law): for sin is the transgression of the Towrah (law).” You see if transgressing the law is “sin” then how could the law be added because of sin? This does not make sense unless you understand “which law” was added! Listen to Maria as she continues her teaching from last week entitled “What is a Schoolmaster?” In this episode, Maria explains exactly “which law” was added to the original covenant because of Yisrael’s transgression with the molten calf. Also see Maria’s blog below where you will also be able to download the ebook: “What is a Schoolmaster? And What Law Was Added Because of Transgression?” http://doubleportioninheritance.blogspot.com/2011/07/what-is-school-master_15.html
