Double Standards

In this fiery episode of Messy Brings Khaos, Molly, Bri, and Kelly were joined once again by Coach Clark to tackle one of the most frustrating topics in relationships and society—double standards. From dating expectations to workplace dynamics, they dove deep into the differences between men and women and why certain rules never seem to apply equally. The conversation covered everything from how men and women are judged differently when it comes to dating, relationships, and even personal choices. Why is it that when a man dates around, he’s praised, but when a woman does the same, she’s judged? Why are women expected to settle down by a certain age, while men are given more time to "figure things out"? The group also debated the double standards in career expectations, emotional expression, and household responsibilities. Coach Clark brought his perspective on where these double standards come from and whether they’re shifting in today’s world. The hosts didn’t hold back, sharing their own experiences and frustrations while also acknowledging the complexities of changing societal norms. With a mix of serious discussions, humor, and classic MBK chaos, this episode had everyone thinking about the unfair rules we live by—and how to challenge them. Don’t miss next week’s episode, where the mess continues!
