Doubs’ Big Contract, Big Pressure
from NFL News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Romeo Doubs is on the clock to prove his worth with the Patriots after landing a big contract, but with Demarcus Brown now in the fold and expected to be the primary target, Doubs faces a steep uphill battle. The team’s faith in him hinges on Josh McDaniels’ offense spreading the ball—and Maye’s willingness to look his way. Without a standout skill or proven game-changing ability, Doubs must show consistent improvement, not just peak performance, to justify his pay and stay ahead of the competition. Early signs aren’t promising, and with Maye already building chemistry with Brown and Hunter Henry, Doubs’ path to dominance is anything but guaranteed.
