Will I Keep Trusting Jesus?Big Idea: We trust in Jesus, not in our own ability to trustSERIES OVERVIEWThough doubt is often characterised as the absence of faith, our series will instead spotlight doubt as the shadow-side of faith.  This series, titled “Faith In The Shadows,” canvasses a series of stories from the whole Bible about various types of doubt and its accompanying burden.  Although exploring doubt may be unconventional in a sermon series, we trust God to minister to us through holy scripture. He calls us to be “merciful to those who doubt” (Jude 22) and so we hope this series kindles faith in believers and unbelievers alike.The selection of stories is based upon a recent book from Philip Ryken, I Have My Doubts: How God Can Use Your Uncertainty to Reawaken Your Faith (Crossway 2024).
