Doug Bopst | From Rock Bottom To Rebirth

from Kreatures Of Habit Podcast · host Michael Chernow

Doug Bopst is an award-winning personal trainer, author, speaker and entrepreneur. Those are some incredible accomplishments that Doug earned in spades. However just a few years ago, Doug's accolades were very different. Not too long ago, he was a felon, drug addict and drug dealer. His life came crashing down the day he was arrested and found guilty of “possession with intent to sell.” Some would argue that could've been the best day of his life. Because, that was when Doug decided to transform his life.  He chose to use his time locked in that small cell to beat his demons and reinvent  himself thanks to a combination of faith, family and fitness. Since then, Doug has helped hundreds of people improve their health and wellness, write 3 books and tell his story of transformation to countless people on national media outlets across the country. Michael and Doug discuss the root of Doug's addictions and what led him to choose drugs in the first place, plus his inspiring story of recovery, thanks to a cellmate that wouldn't let him give up. It's a story of rock bottom and rebirth that will motivate anyone. Don't forget to share this episode with your circle and be sure to follow the show on Instagram @bornormade.
