Douglas Noll is a professional mediator. After a 22 year career as a trial lawyer Doug felt there was a better way to resolve conflicts. Back to school for a Master’s in peacemaking and conflict resolution Doug learned that the US has been using 18th century strategies in areas of conflict, outdated models. Doug authored the award winning book Elusive Peace which won the International Peace & Justice book award. Doug is the co founder of Prison of Peace a pro bono project teaching female inmates peacemaking skills. Doug is the president of the California Dispute resolution council, a founding board member of Mediators Beyond Borders and an adjunct professor of law.
