First, The plaintiff was married to the defendant and says their son needed to have a major surgery, so they agreed on a payment plan. She says the defendant stopped paying the bills after he got into an argument with their son, so she’s suing for unpaid medical bills and emotional distress. He’s suing for emotional distress and the cost of getting a boot removed.
