Estrenada al canal britànic itv el setembre de 2010, té 3 Oscars al seu equip: l'Oscar del creador de la sèrie, Jullian Fellowes, pel seu guió original de Gosford Park (2002) i els dos Oscar de l'actriu Maggie Smith.
