Downtown Phoenix to Get New Shade Canopies at Four Intersections

Send us a text and chime in!Downtown Phoenix Inc. has been selected to receive community beautification funding from Arizona Public Service and will use it to install four to six shade canopies at high traffic pedestrian locations along Jefferson and Washington streets. The structures will go up at the northeast corner of Fifth and Jefferson, the north sidewalk at Fourth and Jefferson, the southwest corner of First and Jefferson, and the northwest corner of Washington and Central Avenue, with additional sites possible by year end.
