Downtown Campus Pastor, Leon Brooks III, explores Jude 24-25, which reveals that Jesus has the power to keep believers from stumbling in their faith and present them blameless before God. While some people fall away from Christianity, those who remain faithful can attribute their perseverance to Christ's keeping power. The key to avoiding spiritual stumbling lies in understanding that we stand before God not through our own righteousness, but through the finished work of Christ on the cross. Jesus endured the shame of crucifixion for the joy of our salvation, demonstrating His deep love for us. This creates a mutual love relationship that grows stronger over time when we surrender to Jesus as both Savior and Lord.
