Dozens of shots fired during apparent drive-by in Belmont, police say

Dozens of shots were fired outside a home in an apparent drive-by shooting in Belmont late Sunday night, police said. Belmont police responded to a report of shots being fired in the area of Nixon Road near Armstrong Farm Drive and Rachel Anne Drive around 11 p.m. When officers arrived, they found bullet holes on the outside of two homes.
