Dr Abayomi Alabi is a marine biotechnologist and president of Seed Science. Yomi is a joint venture partner of Manatee Holdings. Yomi’s experience in the biochemical, microbiological and nutritional requirements for successful aquaculture seed production. Here in British Columbia, Yomi pioneered commercial scale production techniques for prawn, pacific sea urchins, northern abalone. In addition to this, he spearheaded the development of probiotics effective against cold water bacterial diseases for agricultural use in BC.
