Dr. Alex von Frankenberg ist seit 2005 Geschäftsführer des High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) und seit 2000 im Venture Capital / Start-up Umfeld tätig. Mit über 760 Seed Investments seit 2005 ist der HTGF zum aktivsten Frühphasen Investor Europas geworden und hat maßgeblich zur Entwicklung des Start-up Ökosystems in Deutschland beigetragen. Insgesamt verwaltet der HTGF in vier Fonds 1,4 Mrd. Euro. Investoren sind das Bundeswirtschaftsministerium, die KFW und im vierten Fonds 45 Wirtschaftsunternehmen und Family Offices. Vor dem HTGF hielt Alex v. Frankenberg Positionen bei einem Company Builder in der zentralen Forschung bei Siemens, einem IT Startup sowie bei einer Strategie- und IT Beratung. Er hat an der Universität Mannheim und der University of Texas at Austin studiert (MBA, 1992) sowie in Mannheim über die Bildung von de-facto Technologiestandards promoviert (1997).Moderiert von Marc Etienne Sellen.
