It wasn't until her first year studying psychiatry as an intern that the doctors she was attending called an intervention and diagnosed her with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). A Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with sub-specialty certification in Psychosomatic Medicine, Dr. Alicia Maher is passionate about helping others to understand the exciting developments made in treating ADD/ADHD.In addition to her medical practice, she has taught young doctors of USC, UCSF and UCLA, has trained medical residents at Sinai Psychiatry, and lectured on a wide variety of mental health topics.
