He has a keen interest in Trauma, Airways, Academic EM, Resuscitation, POCUS and Metabolic Health. Dr. Ankur conceived and coined the term #SATisfied airway and hopes to spread more awareness regarding the same. He has published 40 papers in national and international journals and has delivered many talks at national and international conferences. He is also the Creator-Founder of THE DESI EM PROJECTTM – India’s First and only Emergency Medicine Podcast heard in more than 78 countries. He is a self-taught “nutritionist” and is trying to create awareness regarding the species specific carnivore lifestyle and root causes of chronic non communicable diseases. He has recently started to amalgamate Emergency Medicine with Metabolic health and is conducting different researches around the same.Dr Ankur is also President, Society for Emergency Medicine, India – Delhi Chapter and Chairs the Trauma SIG of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine. He initiated the #EACH1SAVE1TM campaign where SEMI-Delhi members teach bystander CPR in the community. As President, he led the team in organizing India’s first and only Carbon neutral medical conferences – Best Practices in EM v1.0 and v2.0. The second version was also the First Indian Medical conference boasting of “women only” speakers.
