First Thing is First | South African children’s porn addiction crisis  The access that children as young as five have to smartphones and tablets feeds the addiction and has been cited as one of the factors that drives the ongoing cycle of sexual abuse.      These are the findings of a study by Unisa’s Bureau for Market Research’s Youth Research Unit (BMR unit), which has warned that some of the most shocking things that emerged from the research is that 35% of the children watch child pornography and 30% watch violent pornography. Nearly 65% also watch pornography between a man and a woman. They don’t really care that child pornography is illegal.   Guest: Dr Antoinette Basson, Head: Youth Research Unit (YRU) at the Bureau of Market Research , UNISA
