In addition to her clinical and research duties, she brings a strong advocacy lens to her work. Dr. Chintoh understands the statistics: The suicide rate for people with schizophrenia spectrum disorders is 20 times higher than the general population. Her goal is to start from a place of openness and understanding with patients and families to give them the best chance possible.
