#243 Dr Azita Moradi is the Founder and CEO of Freed (www.freed.global), an organisation dedicated to assisting individuals and teams develop sustainable resilience and well-being strategies to thrive in complexity. Dr. Azita Moradi is a graduate of Monash University and is a fellow the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. She is also an adjunct senior lecturer at Monash University, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences. Dr. Moradi gathers part of her knowledge and experience from her own life story. She grew up in Iran during the political turmoil of the Islamic revolution and the Iran-Iraq war. After arriving in Australia as a teenager, she had to negotiate a completely different culture and language at a critical time in her development as she entered Year 12. Dr. Moradi also draws on over 21 years of experience as a psychotherapist, psychiatrist, medical practitioner, lecturer, coach, and consultant to produce outstanding results for individuals, teams, and organisations. Over the years she provided advice and expertise in the areas of interpersonal dynamics, resilience, personal mastery, and flourishing in the face of adversity and challenge.
