College of GPs Medical Director Bryan Betty told Kate Hawkesby the Government is trying to chart a middle ground. “The situation in Auckland has obviously reached a point where there has to be an end to this, we have to move on and through it but, it really does put an emphasis on really keeping the vaccination program going.” He says getting vaccination rates higher and hospitalisation rates lower remains the priority in Auckland.
