Send us Fan Mail Dr. Pixley is an Arkansas native and grew up on a poultry, beef, and dairy farm in the state's northwest corner. He attended the University of Arkansas and completed a bachelor's degree in biological engineering after completing his master's and doctorate in Poultry Science. During his Ph.D., he worked with two professors from the University of Arkansas to build a start-up company to market some of the technologies developed during his graduate career. Dr. Pixley now works with Novozymes as a senior manager in the animal health and nutrition division. In this episode, he will share some of his experiences with probiotics and some insights into the past, present, and future possibilities of probiotics as they relate to the poultry industry.
