Dr. Chris Summitt on Optic Chip Interconnects

Dr. Chris Summitt talks about a new fabrication process of a polymer out-of-plane optical coupler by gray-scale lithography. Dr. Summitt discusses the motivation for optical chip interconnects, the limitations on fabrication methods, and his novel technique and results.
