Dr. Christiane Northrup

from Intimate Conversations

Dr. Christiane Northrup was exactly as I knew her to be, an undeniable force of contagious inspiration. She is so talented, so brilliant, and we talked about it all. We talked love. We talked divorce. We talked orgasm. We talked menopause. She knows what it is like to be a powerful woman connected to her divine soul and she wants that for all of you.   Christiane Northrup, M.D., is a visionary pioneer and the world's leading authority in the field of women's health and wellness. A board-certified OB/GYN physician who graduated from Dartmouth Medical School and did her residency at Tufts New England Medical Center, Dr. Northrup was also an assistant clinical professor of OB/GYN at Maine Medical Center for 20 years. Recognizing the unity of body, mind, and spirit, Dr. Northrup helps empower women to tune into their innate inner wisdom to transform their health and truly flourish. In her latest books, The Secret Pleasures of Menopause and The Secret Pleasures of Menopause Playbook, Dr. Northrup outlines the crucial link between health and pleasure. Her books, which have been translated into 20 languages, have taught women worldwide how to create joyous and vibrant health throughout their lives. Dr. Northrup has also hosted seven highly successfully public television specials. Her latest special is based upon the newly revised edition of Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom and began airing nationwide in June 2010.
